Summer is one time of year when redecorating your home is an excellent idea. Numerous options become available in the summer, allowing you to expand the look and feel of your home’s décor. However, some may not be able to spend a lot of money on changing up the design of your home. In these situations, it is possible to give a home interior (and exterior) a brand new style without breaking the bank. If you are on a fixed budget, here are some ways to redecorate your home:

-          Changing the lighting in a home can be a cost-effective and simple update that may not even cost you a dime. Take your existing window shades and install them the opposite from the way you have them now. This may augment and add to the amount of light you have in the rooms of your home.

-          Besides gathering areas like the living room and dining room, your guests will spend some time primarily in your first floor bathroom, so spruce it up a little bit. There are gorgeous new faucets available at local hardware stores for much less than you may expect. By changing something as simple as a faucet, you will give your bathroom new life.

-          Don’t forget about an update for your patio decor – another area where you may spend a lot of time with guests. Adding an inexpensive fire pit with a spark screen can give your outdoor entertaining a nice touch during colder summer and fall nights. Also, adding windchimes can be a huge addition your deck area, with lovely sounds floating around whenever there is a breeze.

-          Adding a coat of paint to various elements inside your home can make a room look totally different to anyone familiar with your house. Maybe your wall shelves, chairs or even wall trim could use a new color or hue. Keep your home from looking stale in the summertime!
